Terms and Conditions
NUMBER NINE BOOKING CONDITIONS
1.

Arriving and Leaving - Please do not arrive before 2pm on the first day of
your booking and please leave by 10am on the last day of your holiday.
However, if you wish to arrive earlier than this you may leave your bags and
your car to explore the town. Please leave your mobile number so that we
can get in touch when the house is ready for you.

 
2. Minimum Stay - Usually a two day minimum stay but we prefer a
three or seven day stay at peak times such as Christmas and New Year.
English or Continental Breakfast can be provided at an additional charge if
booked in advance.
 
3. Parking - Off street car parking for one vehicle in the grounds of
the cottage. Additional on street parking adjacent.
 
4. Children - Are welcome, but please note there is a pond in the
garden which means toddlers need to be supervised at all times.
 
5. Pets - By prior arrangement only. Plenty of exercising space in nearby
parkland. No exercise in the grounds please.
 
6. Bookings - Can only be made by adults of 18 and over and the client
must accept full responsibility for all persons who will use the
property during the period booked.
 
7. Provisional bookings - Remain firm provided payment is received
within seven days.
 
8. Deposits - If your holiday starts within three months of the date you make
your booking, you are required to pay the total price at the time
of booking.
 
9. Deposits - If your holiday starts more than three months from the date of
your booking, you should pay a deposit of one third of the cost at
the time of booking. You must remember to send the balance when
due otherwise the property could be re-let.
 
10. Linen - In the case of bookings of more than one week we will provide
linen and towels for each successive week but will only remake
beds with the new linen if requested at the time of the booking.
 
11.

Loss or Damage - When a client books they agree to indemnify the owner
of Number Nine against all loss and damage arising, including
unreasonably large amounts of cleaning, directly or indirectly to the property
and its contents from any deliberate or negligent act or omission
by anyone, or a pet, using the property. The client must without limitations
of the foregoing pay on written demand the costs in making good
any such loss, damage and cleaning. We will not be responsible for any
loss or damage to any belongings, or injuries sustained by
you or any member of your party.

Cancellations - If you wish to cancel a booking please notify us by
email, fax or by letter only. Your deposit is non-refundable and the following
cancellation charges will apply:

 
 

 

More than 90 days before start date – your deposit

89 to 60 days before start date – half the total rental

59 to 30 days before start date – three quarters of the total rental

29 or less to start date – 90 per cent of the total rental

On the start date or early departure – all the total rental

13. Holiday Insurance - We do not operate a cancellation insurance scheme
and strongly recommend that you ensure that you have your
own appropriate cover.
 
14. Unforeseen Circumstances - We may cancel a booking at any time
before the date of the booking
but would expect to do this only for essential building work or an
unforeseen circumstance at the time of booking. In this unlikely
event we undertake to return your money in full but we will not
have any liability beyond this.
 
15. Disclaimer - We accept no liability for any works or activity of any sort
occurring on any premises adjoining or neighbouring our property, nor
shall we be responsible for making any enquiries about the likelihood
of, or providing any information to you about, any such works or activity.
